My daughter Tegan was 2 years old in 2011 when she was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. She endured 26 months of chemotherapy treatment. In October 2018 she celebrated 5 years off treatment, and is thankfully doing very well. She has experienced some long term effects from her treatment, but they seem to be easing for now, for which we are grateful. I am an advocate to spread awareness in our province and fundraise for research. Not all kids are as fortunate as Tegan to have survived her diagnosis. This needs to change.

Did you know that only 5% of all cancer research dollars (private and government dollars) in Canada is allocated to childhood cancer?
I am fundraising for Childhood Cancer Canada (CCC) through Small But Mighty SK's Gold Walk. 100% of monies raised goes to fund research through the C17, research that will change the course of treatment for children in Canada and worldwide.
