Brock was a typical 11-year-old who enjoyed playing with his friends, living his hockey dream and has no cares in the world.

On April 26, 2017, Brock was diagnosed with stage 4 Hepatoblastoma. With no signs or symptoms other than a slight amount of weight loss, his world stopped. Hepatoblastoma is an extremely rare cancer, diagnosed in fewer than one in a million children each year.

He was determined that this diagnosis would not keep him from His AAA hockey and AAA baseball teams.

Brock endured 16 rounds of chemotherapy which started in London and eventually needed to be done here in Toronto. His hospital admissions were lengthy and difficult. Upon finding out that the Chemotherapy was not working on his multiple tumours another plan was needed. Palliative options were discussed and a last ditch effort ensued. In order to live, Brock needed a complete deceased Liver Transplant.

August 23, 2017, Brock underwent a 13 hour surgery for a new liver and set the new record for the fastest discharge of any transplant of any kind, in only 9 days. He was back on the ice 10 weeks post-transplant.

Currently he can take up to 40 pills a day in order to not reject his liver, continues to play high level hockey and baseball and is determined to change the face of pediatric Cancer and organ donation.

He’s determined to not let other kids have to go through what he has endured.

Please Support Our Journey

Did you know that only 5% of cancer research dollars is allocated to childhood cancer?

We are fundraising for IT4CC in support of Childhood Cancer Canada (CCC) and would love to be able to count on your support. Together we can further life-saving research, and help grow CCC's critical education, community and connectivity programs to children with cancer and their families.

Let's create more victories for the 10,000 kids currently battling cancer in Canada.

Thank you for giving generously.
